ClinchFX is back in action!

My “simple” surgical procedure turned out to be the most difficult of its type ever performed by the surgeon.  I bounced back relatively quickly, but then crashed again.  I’ve finally recovered.

At the end of 2009, Mandy resigned from her job and is now helping me with assembling EP-PRE pedals.  Mandy has Advanced Diploma qualifications in Electronics Engineering and years of practical experience in the field.  She will also be answering most emails for pedal orders.

We are currently shipping orders from 3rd Quarter 2009, and will begin shipping 4th Quarter orders by February 26.

Our goal is to design and build the best hand assembled analog effects available. Our first product is a guitar effect, the Blue Classic boost / overdrive pedal. Planned future products include a distortion pedal or two, a tremolo, a wah and some studio effects.

ClinchFX design methods include using modern electronic construction techniques with classic circuit topology to give new retro-style sounds.

One of the features that distinguishes our effects from mass produced products is that all switches and sockets are wired to the main PCB instead of being directly soldered.

Shipping

Pedals are shipped in a custom shipping carton, and operating instructions are packed with each pedal. Operating instructions are also available online at our User Manuals page.

We ship with Australia Post Air Mail. Insurance is included in shipping cost. Our experience so far with Australia Post has been very good. In most cases, pedals have arrived in the USA within five days.
